Shanghai-based Chinese stainless steel producer Baosteel Stainless Steel Co., Ltd, a subsidiary of Chinese steel giant Baoshan Iron and Steel Co., Ltd (Baosteel), has announced that in 2012 its total sales of stainless steel products amounted to over 2.4 million mt.

In addition, Baosteel Stainless stated that in 2013 it plans to concentrate on production of ultra-pure ferritic stainless steel and duplex stainless steel.
